Lehigh Valley College Dresses For Success With Professional Dress Fashion Show

(Center Valley, Feb. 9) - Lehigh Valley College held a Professional Dress Fashion Show Wed., Feb. 8, showcasing 2006 spring line professional wear and offering tips on making effective use of women’s business wardrobes. The show was co-sponsored by the Dress Barn, Quakertown.

Businesswomen new to the working world often are uncertain about how best to present themselves. The show demonstrated how to create a professional appearance, how to accessorize for an evening look with a suit, and how to make the most of a business wardrobe generally.

Models for the show were Dana Insalaco, a fashion merchandising major, and Lauren Murphy, a management/marketing major, both of Bethlehem; Rosanna Derstine, a management/marketing major, of Dublin (Pa.); Shooney Frederic, a medical assisting major, of Philadelphia; Jackie Schwartz, a visual communications major, of Honesdale; Tasha Taylor, a criminal justice major, of Plainfield, N.J.; and Lucy Yankowy, a Lehigh Valley College employee, of Macungie.
