Lorry Bradley

Lorry Bradley, holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice with minors in Sociology and Social Welfare and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology. She joined the Lehigh Valley College (LVC) faculty as an adjunct instructor in July of 2004 and became a full-time Assistant Professor in January of 2005. She acted as the Master of Ceremonies for the LVC Winter 2006 commencement. In 2005, Ms. Bradley was nominated as a LVC Educator of the Year and was inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society for faculty.
Ms. Bradley brings over fifteen years of experience working with various at-risk populations to her classroom. She began her social services career as a Social Worker for the Board of Social Services in Morris County New Jersey working with homeless HIV positive individuals and welfare families. She worked as the Sexual Assault Program Coordinator for the Domestic Abuse and Rape Crisis Center in Warren County New Jersey where she served as a board member for the New Jersey Coalition of Sexual Assault. During her board term, she was the Chairperson for the Sexual Harassment Committee charged with facilitating the creation of sexual harassment policy recommendations for the state.
Upon relocating to the Lehigh Valley, Ms. Bradley began working at THE PROGRAM for Women and Families, Inc. During her tenure with the agency, she was a counselor for female offenders in an intermediate punishment program. While in this position, she developed the RESPECT Program, a 12-hour psycho-educational program for female offenders and developed a school-based juvenile probation program in Lehigh County and an intensive juvenile probation program in Northampton County. Upon promotion to Child Abuse Prevention Program Director for the agency, she became responsible for supervising the Parent Aide, Counseling and CALM-Batterer?s Intervention Programs. Additionally, while employed at THE PROGRAM, Ms. Bradley wrote two chapters for the textbook Female Offenders, Aspen Publishers, 1998 ? Needs Assessment and Goal Planning and Model Programs: Working with Prostitutes. She also presented workshops at local agencies and for a conference of the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. In 2005, Ms. Bradley became a board member for THE PROGRAM.
Ms. Bradley returned to the victim service field in 1998 when she became the Northampton County Project Director supervising Northampton County initiatives for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. ? the domestic violence agency within the Lehigh Valley. In 2002, she was promoted to the Director of Program Development. In this capacity, she was responsible for all programmatic pieces of the agency?s grants and for supervising and developing prevention programs for the agency. She has presented numerous workshops and programs regarding the impact of violence throughout the Lehigh Valley and at several Pennsylvania conferences. Ms. Bradley continues to be a volunteer for Turning Point.
In addition to her social service experience Ms. Bradley was a Board Member for the Catasauqua Area School District, is a Board Member of the Catasauqua Midget Wrestling Association and volunteers for the Catasauqua Youth Athletic Association. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and other family and friends.
Susan Pettit
Associate Professor
Legal Studies
Professor Pettit, an Associate Professor and a Program Specialist, has been employed by the college since the Fall of 1993. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from East Stroudsburg University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Professor Pettit earned her Juris Doctor from Temple University School of Law.
Currently, Professor Pettit serves as the Legal Studies Internship Coordinator. She is employed by Scherline & Associates, where she serves as legal counsel for Miss Pennsylvania, the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Organization, Inc. and works closely with the Miss America Organization.
Professor Pettit?s teaching experiences include adjunct positions at Pennsylvania State University and Northamptom Community College. On-campus and Distance Learning classes are currently taught by Professor Pettit.
During her free time, she is a Board Member of Common Sense for Animals. She is an avid tennis player participating in several United States Association Leagues.
John Bing

John F. Bing is credentialed as an Assistant Professor of Business specializing in the areas of Financial Management & Economics. He currently occupies the Business Administration Department Chair position where he oversees the Management/Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, & Accounting Programs. Mr. Bing teaches in adjunct capacity for Cedar Crest College . His career spans 12 years in business and industry including 14 years of duty in the military reserves. He enjoys traveling and has visited 13 foreign countries. Specializing in a in a variety of topics in investments, cost containment, and personal finance, Mr. Bing received his Bachelor of Science from Bloomsburg University of PA and Masters in Business Administration from DeSales University.
Amanda Lovell

Amanda Lovell began teaching at Lehigh Valley College in 2004. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science and graduated with a 3.9 GPA, as well as being a member of Delta Mu Delta (the National Honors Society), and will be working towards receiving her Masters in Textile and Apparel Marketing from Philadelphia University. Prior to teaching, she has had the opportunity to live and work in London, for a Fashion Publications Company and has worked in New York City for the Modern Brands Division of Liz Claiborne Inc. as the Lead Coordinator for NYC in the In-Store Marketing Department. She has worked with brands such as DKNY Jeans, City DKNY, Kenneth Cole Women?s Wear, and Lucky Brand Jeans in developing and implementing visual merchandising guidelines, as well as aiding the buyers in buying their lines. Prior to her role as Lead Coordinator, Amanda worked as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Design for DKNY Jeans.
Teaching has been a profession that Amanda has truly embraced, and has been awarded the President?s VIP Award of Excellence. In the works for Amanda include writing her own fashion textbook, writing her own fashion column for local publication, and continuing with her freelance consulting work for local companies involving other fashion related categories.
Erica Honeyman

Professor Erica Honeyman earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Kutztown University where she majored in photography. Upon graduating, she became a photo retoucher and graphic designer at a local camera retail establishment where she managed the department. During this time she also assisted professional photographers in the area, doing retouching for them, training them in Adobe Photoshop and learning more about the business of photography. In 1998, she opened her own photo studio where she specialized in fine art portraiture, retouching and creating ads for local companies. While running her studio she was asked to teach part time at Allentown Business School. She really enjoyed teaching and took a full time position at Gibbs College in NJ in 1999. After a year, when her supervisor left, she was asked to run the Visual Communications department. She stayed with Gibbs College until 2004, moving up to an academic dean position and earning a Masters of Education degree in Instructional Technology before she left. She then decided to return to Pennsylvania and accepted the program chair position at Lehigh Valley College for the Visual Communications program.
Professor Honeyman is happy to be back in Pennsylvania doing what she loves?being creative and teaching others how to do the same. She is involved with many artistic activities in the Valley, and is an educational representative on the board for The Greater Lehigh Valley Ad Club.
Larry A. Moyer
Assistant Professor Business Programs
Professor Moyer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Recreation and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg University and is currently completing a Master of Science in Management at Rosemont College. Professor Moyer brings 42 years of teaching experience in public education to ABS. In addition, Professor Moyer completed 32 master credits at Springfield College, 24 master credits at Temple University and completed an A.S.B. Degree in Travel and Tourism from ABS in 1998. He is a member of the Allentown Preservation League, Old Allentown Historic Association, and Old Allentown Night Watch Club. Professor Moyer is actively involved in Sigma Pi Association at East Stroudsburg University and Temple University Alumni Association. He is affiliated with the Eastern Travel Association, the American Hotel and Lodging Association, and Toastmasters of the Lehigh Valley.
A passionate traveler, Professor Moyer has documented the transformation of Eastern Europe from the post communist era to its global entry into the Economic Union. When not teaching classes, Professor Moyer competes in the U.S. Masters Swimming Program and volunteers in community clean-up projects.
Rebecca Heid

Assistant Professor Heid holds a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in International Trade from Johnson & Wales University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Industrial Management from Pennsylvania State University. She attended school in two different locations in Switzerland for a summer and experienced the opportunity to travel and take classes in a different atmosphere.
Ms. Heid brings four years of experience in Management to her classes. She has worked in Washington, DC for Sodexho at American University. She also worked for Sodexho in Cumberland, Rhode Island at Bryant College. Ms. Heid held a position as a manager with ARAMARK at the Lansdale Merck Pharmaceutical location.
Ms. Heid is an active member in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Industrial Management Alumni Association. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania State Alumni Association as well as the Johnson & Wales Alumni Association. She carries a license in Accidental Death and Health insurance.
Professor Heid enjoys traveling, reading, attending wine tasting events, experiencing new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
Brian Hague

Prior to joining the staff at Lehigh Valley College as an adjunct professor, Brian had a successful career with Henkel Corporation, a $17 billion global manufacturer of industrial and consumer products such as Loctite® adhesives, Duck® Tape and Dial® soap. During this time he worked in a matrix structure on various world-wide teams, holding positions of Production Supervisor, R&D Chemist, Quality Control Supervisor, Market/Product Manager, Strategic Marketing Manager, Technical Service Engineer and Senior Account Manager.
He holds a B.S. in Management (High Honors) from Rutgers University, Rutgers School of Business; an MBA in Marketing and International Business from Lehigh University, College of Business and Economics; and a CPD in Finance from The University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
Kevin Fura

Professor Fura holds a Bachelor in Science in Business Administration, Management from Pennsylvania State University; A.S.B. in Accounting from Allentown Business School; has earned 27 credits toward an Masters in Arts in History from Lehigh University.
Professor Fura has 20 years of teaching experience at Lehigh Valley College. He is currently researching the effects of deindustrialization on Reading and Berks County for his master?s thesis. His main area of research is urban American history. He is a member of the American Historical Association, Berks County Historical Society, and the Society for American Baseball Research, and is serving as a faculty representative on the Lehigh Valley College Board of Governors. Professor Fura also enjoys reading, traveling, baseball, and walking.
Laird MacCubbin

Laird holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development & Family Studies from Colorado State University and a Master of Arts degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Northern Colorado. He brings over 15 years of experience in the physical rehabilitation field and attained his massage training at the Lehigh Valley Healing Arts Academy in Emmaus, PA. in 1999. He has been nationally certified in Massage Therapy since 2000 and runs a part-time business, Lehigh Valley Massage Therapy as well as working for Benedetto Chiropractic Health Center in Bethlehem.
Dr. Brian Conroy
Dean, Allied Health Dept.
Dr Conroy graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After graduating he worked in the environmental field performing water quality assessments for the Bucks Co. Dept. of Natural Resources. He then accepted a teaching position with Admiral Peary Vocational-Technical School in Ebensburg, PA, where he developed the curriculum and taught Environmental Pollution Control Technology. This was a pilot program and the first of its kind in the state of Pennsylvania. While teaching there he attended the Univ. of Pittsburgh at Johnstown taking graduate courses for his vocational teaching certification. Dr. Conroy then took a position with Fisher Scientific Co. as a water quality specialist working in Pittsburgh and Northeast PA.
At age 33, Dr. Conroy attended Ross University Medical School in Dominica, West Indies, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. After medical school, Dr Conroy became the Medical Director for Southeastern Clinical Laboratory in Allentown, PA where they performed clinical laboratory testing.
Dr. Conroy is the club advisor for the Allied Health Club at LVC, is a member of the Notre Dame Club of the Lehigh Valley which raises funds for scholarships and performs various community services, and he recently volunteered to help conduct a stream survey of the Upper Tohicken Creek Watershed which is to be used by the State of PA for future development plans.
His hobbies include golf, fishing, hunting and spending time with his nine grandchildren.
Stephanie B. Dimmich

Professor Dimmich holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from Lehigh University and an Master of Science degree in Child and Family Development from the University of Kentucky. Professor Dimmich brings 6 years of counseling experience and 2 years of college teaching experience to Lehigh Valley College.
William D. Prystauk

Professor Prystauk has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Rutgers and a Masters in English from Slippery Rock University. Originally from New Jersey, Bill has worked as a cook, desk clerk, child care specialist, painter's apprentice, advertising coordinator and marketing specialist. Bill also served four years as a Coast Guard Reservist. Currently teaching Composition I and II, Introduction to Literature, Freshman Seminar and Professional Development, Bill relies on his many years of successful writing in marketing and advertising, as well as in writing film, music and book reviews to assist our students in further developing their all important written communication skills. Bill is also an award-winning poet, an award-winning screenwriter, and is currently working on several, independent screenwriting projects.
Patrick Kane

Professor Kane holds a Master of Science in Mathematics Education Degree from Towson University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
Professor Kane brings 7 years of teaching experience at Universities and Community Colleges to Lehigh Valley College and 11 years of industry experience as an engineering professional with a Fortune 500 company in the computer industry. He has experience working in adult literacy in both the community and in corrections and teaching undergraduate finite mathematics and statistics courses.
Professor Kane is the lead mathematics faculty member and serves on the Faculty Council. He began teaching courses at LVC in July, 2004.
Professor Kane enjoys traveling, woodworking and gardening.
Jennifer Neeb

Jennifer Neeb currently holds the position of Dean of Academic Instruction and Student Records at Lehigh Valley College. Dean Neeb has been with the college for eight years in the positions of Career Services Representative, Director or Career Services, Director of Business and Legal Programs and her current role. Prior to Lehigh Valley College, she was employed as a Manager for both Dorney Park and WildWater Kingdom and their parent company, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. While at the parks, she was responsible for the hiring and training of seasonal employees. It was there that she met and was recruited by Hobbie Personnel Services to work in the staffing industry. While at Hobbie Personnel, she was recruited by Allentown Business School?s (now Lehigh Valley College) Career Services Department. Dean Neeb has a Bachelor of Science in Family Resources and Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Management with an emphasis on Training and Development.
Holly Bennett

Ms. Bennett holds a Master?s degree in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University as well as a Master?s certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from Rosemont College.
Ms. Bennett?s professional background includes working in the IT industry for seven years prior to joining Lehigh Valley College. She held positions as a computer programmer, project manager, and client relationship manager during that time. In her previous positions, she managed web maintenance projects for client accounts such as Sharp Electronics, A&E Television Network, Keds Shoes, Troll Books, the Children?s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Avon.
Ms. Bennett is a member of the American Library Association?s National Publication Board, the Pennsylvania Library Association, the Nazareth Public Library Advisory Board, and the Project Management Institute. In October 2007, she will serve as the Chair for the Lehigh Valley?s ALS walk for the fifth consecutive year.

Professor McCabe holds a Masters Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Strategic Communications and Leadership from Seton Hall University. Professor McCabe brings 2.5 years of teaching experience in private business schools to Lehigh Valley College and 10 years of industry experience in Mass Communication.
